Tree house

We have decided to add a putting green this spring. But in the mean time, Tom and kids are building a tree house. And that would not be complete without a ZIP wire! Kids practiced today on that and had fun. That was, until Tom broke it. Evidently there is a weight limit. The team is going for industrial strength supplies this week! We are hoping for warmer weather!

Princess turns "3"

Anastasia celebrated her 3rd birthday this week. She and friend, Emma, went to get their hair done like princesses complete with SPARKLES! Followed by a stop at Chick Fil-A, and topped off by a party at the house with princess trimmings and CAKE! Good time and good eating!

Visit from the Clan

Cousin Erika and husband Adam made a detour from Arkansas to Carolina to visit us. After an even longer detour they made it here :). We had a great visit and the kids wanted to know if they could have another sleep-over, soon.

Mechanical Engineer?

Joe and Dad (and even Anastasia) decided to go wild with the circuit book from Christmas. What they ended up with was a cardboard robot with lighted nose eyes, and noise! "Jacob,"as he was fondly named, even made
it to show-n-tell. Well, his head did. (Rules are it has to fit in the backpack.) The rest of the duck taped cardboard had to stay home! Have a look, Didi says maybe he will be an electrical engineer. Who knows??

Basketball

Joe is trying
his hand at
b-ball=
literally.
He is
grasping
dribbling
and enjoys
running.
He is having a lot
of fun with this.

Riding off those extra holiday pounds

The kids took to biking the hill with a vengence
after packing away all of those holiday goodies.

Christmas 2007

We had a wonderful time celebrating Christmas with Great Nana and Great Didi, Nana and Didi, Uncle Eric, Aunt Tanya, Andrew, Sarah and our crew. It was nice to see everyone.
