Memorial Day Visit

Kate, Brian, and baby"Huck" came for the long weekend. The kids had a great time in the water fight with Kate and Brian, being big helpers with Huck and showing off in general. It was nice to catch up and Ashley watched all three kids so that the adults could get some good food and walk around Bridgestreet. We even fed the horses, picked strawberries, and went to the Botanical Garden.

Arkansas Weekend

We all headed to see the Snow family in Pocahontas, AR for the weekend. It was so nice to see everyone. Joe and Ana did very well and looked great for Stormy and Craig's wedding. (Ana was a flower girl.) She walked down the aisle flinging flowers when they told her that there were cupcakes in the bottom of the basket.

We then visited and the kids rode the big wheel down the hill and around Mawmaw's obstacle course (cones and buckets.)

Ana Shines

Here is Ana belting out her rendition of "ABC's..."

End of Year Program

The kids had been practicing for quite a while and did a great job at the end of year program. Joe cited the Lord's Prayer, 23 Psalm, played the sticks, and sang a few other songs. Ana sang "ABC's" and "He's got the whole world in his hands." Both hammed it up and did great. It is hard to believe that Joe will be headed to Kindergarten in the fall. Wow how time flies.

Mother's Day

We all put on our best duds and new shoes as a trial for Stormy's wedding. (No worries, we did not wear the cream colored princess dress during this trial.)

We met up with the family and packed away some calories at a mother's day brunch. We had a good time and great food. They did not charge for the kids, but are reconsidering this policy after Joe at about 12 shrimp and Anastasia ate her weight in fruit and appetizers. There was even a piano player. Ana requested Twinkle Twinkle Little Star, and he was nice enough to play it while she sang. It was a great mother's day enjoyed with the family.
