End of summer bash

Kids enjoyed VBS and ended with a water slide. They petted sting rays, lobster and flounder in the tank, and had a good time at the science center with Alex and Sydney. Our trip ended with fireworks across all the beaches. It was amazing. Then, it was time to head home to Alabama.

Time with the "Greats"

Great Nana and Didi visited us for a bit. They are now 90 and 88 so was nice to spend some time with them. We even got them in the pool. Joe had Great Didi watching Herbie, That Darn Cat, Pollyana, and some other classics. Great Nana did , "This little piggy" for hours.

Swim Team??

At the beginning of the season, the kids were a bit apprehensive. But after swimming every day, Ana was swimming without water wings and Joe was in the deep end. They did great, played hard and worked on their tans.

Beach fun

We survived the waves and built a cool sand castle with moat. We met up with Lorie and her crew and even saw a 6 ft nurse shark. We decided it was time to go back to the pool.

MOSI

We visited the Museum of Science and Industry in Tampa. We go to try out the hurricane winds, forrest fire, tornado, earth quake and see life like dinosaurs. Joe tried out the wheel chair course and Ana went shopping and played the drums. We had a blast.

Summer Fun

School ended, Tom traveled for business and the Army, so the kids and I took off for the beach. We had a great time. We went swimming, to the beach, science centers, aquarium, planetarium, VBS and just hung out. We saw Didi's airplane, which was neat, too. Here are some pictures of the fun. We got to see Great Nana and Great Didi which was a nice treat.
