Jolly Woodman Pub visit

Well, we started off at Sandringham- our house and biked throught the Burnham Beeches. Kids had fun, we rode to the pub, refueled and returned home. This is normally about a 10 minute car ride. With two children, our biking time was more like an hour. The kids asked when we returned if we could do it again tomorrow. Hmmm...

Joe's "lion lost his roar story"

Joe presented his lion story at assembly. Here is a brief clip.

Helio flights

Tom purchased a small remote control helicopter. The kids took it out in the garden and were greeted by the neighbors cat. He was trying to catch it. Talk about excitement for the day, we certainly had some!

Long Trek to lunch

It took us an hour to trek from our house all the way through the beeches to the church next to Dropmore Infant School. We actually made great time and the kids had fun. The incentive was the meal at the pub at the end. A good time was had by all.

We then headed to the church where Joe and the upper class performed for the harvest festival. It was a nice service and the children sang well.

Anastasia's first Assembly

Anastasia had her first turn to speak at assembly today. She explained how she put humpty-dumpty on the wall. Mrs. Redstone helped her and commented that she did not know how Anastasia made such a lovely wall for Humpty when Ana replied that she would show her how to make it is she wanted her to.

Joe got a library award today, too.

Football club

Joe is enjoying the after school football club. Here are a few pics.

Harvest Festival

The children participated in the Harvest Festival which is similar to thanksgiving in the states. Here is Joe singing "peas go pop!" He also had a key xylophone part. They told of different 'nationality harvest stories: Chinese, German.... We learned a lot.
