Sea World

The kids had a great time seeing all the critters, feeding the rays and riding on the mini coasters.

August at Sea World, Orlando FL

The kids, Nana and Didi and I had a blast at Sea World. We saw all the sharks, watched the shows and rode on the rides. We had a bit of rain but great weather overall.

Visiting the Greats!

We saw Great Nana and Great Didi for a few days. We celebrated Nana's big birthday. The kids had a good time hanging out, eating in the cafeteria, and making puzzles.

Summer Break

With Tom in Afghanistan, the kids and I headed home for the summer holidays. We made the circuit visiting family and friends. We had fun swimming and playing tennis in Florida, going to the science center, out for ice cream, shopping, visiting the library, watching movies, walking along the beach, and just enjoying the sun.
We saw Andrew and Sarah and visited Space Camp which was pretty neat, too. We went to the Botanical Garden but had to cut our tour short due to the thunder and lightening. Saying that Anastasia is frightened of such storms is putting it mildly. :)

Leaver's assembly

Joe is moving up to the Junior School and his entire class performed at assembly. The theme was a pirate adventure and looking for a new home. They told about highlights from class, places that they had visited and things that they were looking forward to at the new school. Hot lunches!

End of term

Anastasia moved up to the big class in Promiseland at church. She was chosen from her group to be a solider of God. Here she is modelling her outfit.

Natural History Museum

I accompanied Ana's class to the natural history museum. We had a total of 63 children aged 4 or 5, along with 18 adults. We saw the dinosaur exhibit, creepy crawlies, butterfly house and the puppet show. The kids had a blast and were wiped out after their day out. It was good fun.
